Does Rupert LCS Carry Liability Insurance To Protect Their Clients?
Our General Liability Insurance ensure that our clients are protected.
A copy of our policy is available upon request.
What days and Hours You Work
At Rupert LCS, we clean from Monday to Friday. First arrival window time is between 8 am and 9 am and the last arrival is between 3 pm and 4 pm.
DO you Provide weekend Cleaning?
Not typically, Only on a few small occasions we may be able to do so, The rate increases as well since the workers would be working overtime. because Rupert LCS do not work on the weekends, if you have a need for a Saturday cleaning, discuss this with the office and they will try to get a team for you.
What Supplies/Equipment Clients Need to Provide?
We provide all the supplies and equipment necessary, with these exceptions: Toilet Brushes, Kitchen Sponge, and Trash can Liners.
We use a variety of different cleaners including eco-friendly products. If you are allergic or prefer only green cleaners, please let us know immediately so we can add it to your file accordingly. Please let us know which chemical or brands you are allergic to such as bleach, Ajax, Oven-Cleaner, Degreasers, etc. This will help to ensure the best service possible.
I Have Specific Request for Special Surfaces - What Should I Do?
Let the office know prior to cleaning. Simply email with your specific request and place the special cleaning solutions in a visible area, don't forget to let us know where you left the cleaning solutions so we can ensure the workers at Rupert LCS know that these cleaning agents can be used by them.
We ask that you supply specific cleaners for surfaces that require manufacturer's recommended products such as stone counters, marble floors, and certain types of wood floors. It's imperative to follow the manufactures recommendations to properly maintain the life of these surfaces and avoid harming them in any way.
How Do I Make A Payment?
Payment is due in full the day of the service. If you are leaving a check, please make sure it is payable to Rupert LCS. You may leave check on the kitchen counter for the workers.
Rupert LCS accepts Cash, Checks, Visa, Mastercard and Discover as well as PayPal. Checks returned from client's bank will be assessed an additional fee of $40.
What Are My Payment Terms?
Scheduled service cancelled without 48 hours notice will receive a $50 late cancellation fee.
Lock out fees are charged at 50% of the full rate of service. Lock out fee means that the cleaners were scheduled, dispatched to clean your home but they didn't obtain access to the unit. This means that Rupert LCS paid all employees scheduled for your unit, paid travel time plus waiting time to figure if someone was going to be able to allow them in plus travel time to go to another house.

Can I Hire Rupert LCS Cleaners On The Side? NO
All of our clients are asked to sign a non-solicitation agreement. Rupert LCS invest time and money in the development and training of their employees. Therefore under no circumstances out clients will knowingly engage in a direct working relationship with any employee of Rupert LCS. The solicitation of Rupert LCS employee for a client private hire will result in termination of service(s). If this agreement is reached, the client will pay Rupert LCS $3,000.00 for hiring an employee.
1. I understand that Rupert LCS has invested time and money in
the development and training of their employees and that
I under no circumstance will knowingly engage in a direct
working relationship with any employee of Rupert LCS.
2. I understand that the solicitation of a Rupert LCS employee for
my private hire will result in termination of service(s)
3. I understand that I will pay Rupert LCS a training fee of
$3,000.00 if I breach this non-solicitation agreement and hire
their employees for my own private service.
Are The Maids' Sub-Contractors or Rupert LCS's Employees As Required By The Law?
All cleaning specialists / maids are Rupert LCS employees. They participate in the company's training program, go through a background check, receive benefits and are paid according to the law. We remit employment insurance, service tax, workers compensation and general business liability insurance.
Weekly, Bi-weekly or Monthly regular Service
Regular cleaning services includes on a weekly, bi-weekly, or once a month. The regular cleaning schedule is available only after an initial deep cleaning has taken place.
Why Would You Need A Deep Cleaning If You Are Signing Up For Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Or Once A Month Regular Cleaning?
Because if it's the first time we clean your home, we consider it a deep cleaning since we don't know what to expect or exactly how long it may take to provide the correct attention to your premises. During the time we go over the entire space touching everything possible to ensure we don't leave something without cleaning (within reason of course and depending on your budget).
Normally if the home needs more attention then the more likely it is that you would notice a big difference. If your home is extremely clean, less difference would be noticed but also less time would be required and initial deep cleaning cost would also be less than anticipated.
A maintenance cleaning is basically going over the majority of the same things that we done during the deep cleaning with the exception that we cap the time based on the cost per visit we provide you to keep cost within reason.

Detailed Services and Limitations
All Rooms / Bedrooms
Dust picture frames, dust ceiling fans, lamps, furniture, woodwork, shelves and baseboards
(wipe with a rag and multi-purpose cleaner).
Under baseboard (if accessible), switch plates, vacuum sofa and under cushions and empty wastebaskets. Make beds and change linens if left out (2 beds linens changed for free; additional beds are offered at an extra charge).
All areas dusted - on top, on front and underneath. All items removed and replaced.
Elevations higher than 8 feet for dusting and cleaning may require additional time and costs.
Please note that insurance and safety prohibits lifting and moving anything weighing more than 40 pounds.
Bathrooms
Clean, scrub and sanitize showers, and bathroom sinks. Clean and sanitize vanities, backsplashes and toilets. Clean mirrors, polish chrome, dust windows and ledges, empty trash, wash floors and dust baseboards. Deodorize.
Each time Rupert LCS cleans your home, we take care of a few extra tasks in each room to make sure that your home is well maintained.
